Welcome to the Neighborhood
Many people have heard of Cleveland, but few who haven't been here really know what the city is all about. While it proudly celebrates its industrial roots, Cleveland is in the midst of an exciting transformation toward a more diverse, technology-focused economy. Throw in a reasonable cost of living, amenities like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and the natural beauty of Ohio's North Coast, and you have quite a place to call home.
University Circle
The neighborhood immediately surrounding the Case campus is known as University Circle, an extraordinary educational, cultural and medical district, located just minutes from downtown Cleveland. In this one square mile, you will discover arts and sciences, museums and parks, galleries and restaurants. From blockbuster art exhibitions to natural wonders of the planet, world-class music to dazzling theater, the vast wealth of offerings in University Circle rivals that of any metropolitan area in the world. This district is also home to University Hospitals of Cleveland, a nationally recognized academic medical center.
Greater Cleveland
While Case's campus area is great, there's certainly more to Cleveland than just University Circle. Whether you want to experience world-class performing arts with Broadway productions and opera at Playhouse Square Center or a show at the Carousel Dinner Theatre; cheer on the Browns, Cavaliers or Indians; or hike or bike in Cleveland's famed Emerald Necklace Metroparks, the city features entertainment, sports and outdoor activities for all kinds of tastes.
More for your Money
According to the ACCRA Cost of Living Index, Cleveland's cost of living is substantially lower than that of New York; Boston; Washington, DC; San Diego; Philadelphia; Los Angeles; and Chicago. In fact, residents in the Cleveland area have long enjoyed a lower average monthly mortgage payment than residents in 18 other leading major metropolitan areas of the nation.
