Registration Information for Distance Learning Students

Current Students

  1. Contact your advisor to finalize your course selection(s). Your advisor will need to release your advising hold.

  2. Contact itnpermit@case.edu for your ITN Permit. Required information to obtain your ITN Permit:

    • Student ID#

    • Class section/Class number (e.g., 101-ITN (12345))

  3. Once you receive the ITN Permit, login to SIS (Student Information System) to register. See: Enrolling in Classes

  4. Waive the University Health Insurance coverage. See: Waiving Health Insurance

  5. Once you have completed your registration, fax the following to the CSE Dean's Office, (216)-368-6939:

    • Copy of your registration receipt

    • Completed ITN Registration Form & Proctor Participation Agreement
      Note: It is imperative that you do not omit any information on this form.

    • Tuition Reimbursement Letter from your organization on company letterhead, listing your eligibility for tuition reimbursement for the course(s) you plan to enroll in or 1/2 the tuition payment Tuition Rates

Registration Notes

Account Balances
If you have a balance on your account, you will need to pay this amount in full before you can register for courses. If you have any questions regarding your account, please call Case Student Accounts Receivables at (216)-368-2226.

In-Person Registration
If you want to register in person, your advisor must first lift the advising hold on your account, and you must be issued an ITN permit from the CSE Dean's Office at (216)-368-8859 or in Nord 500, before registering and making a payment.

Important Dates and Deadlines
Date and deadline information can be found on the University Registrar's Academic Calendar.


Late Registration, Drop/Add & Withdrawals

Courses that are dropped before, or on, the last day of registration will be deleted from the student's academic record. Courses dropped after this date will not be deleted and will be retained on the academic record with a grade of "W." Extensions will not be granted.

You can order your textbooks by calling our Campus Bookstore at (216)-368-1657 or by visiting http://case.bncollege.com.


Case Network ID Activation

Once you have this ID, you can check your student information such as grades, account balances and courses for which you are currently registered.
