CLEVELAND - Ricardo "Rick" Perez, CIT '75, recently visited his alma mater to present a check from Lockheed Martin to Case faculty member Patrick Mather for a graduate fellowship to conduct work on nanoadhesives in the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering. Perez recently was named vice president and general manager of Lockheed's Defense and Surveillance unit in Akron, moving back to Ohio from Orlando, Florida.

While visiting the campus, Perez also admired "Dexter," Case's entry into the DARPA Urban Challenge competition, toured the new Sears Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Design Laboratories, and visited Prof. Roger Quinn's Biologically Inspired Robotics Laboratory.
