Case vs. WRUThe Pumpkin Drop contest is an activity designed to promote engineering and science in the community. The Pumpkin Drop is a fun way to get kids involved and encourage them to go into technical fields. The objective of the competition is to design a device that will protect a small pumpkin from breaking when it is dropped - Pumpkin Drop supplies will be provided for each team. The rules are to protect a pumpkin during a fall from a predetermined height while using the provided parts and increasing the accuracy of the drop. The winning team will receive unique Pumpkin Drop trophies. We'll also give out fun prizes to other entrants such as the Most Creative and the Biggest Splat.

We're currently taking entries into this first annual contest. If you're interested in putting together a team of no more than four members fill out the entry form and return it to John Keller, Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving, at 503 Nord Hall, or contact John at 216-368-4349 or john.keller@case.edu for registration details.
