Guidelines for Reservation Policy for the Nord Conference Center (310) and Atrium

Start by filling out the Room Request Form.

Reservation priority for the Nord Conference Center (room 310) will be given in the following manner:

Type of Event Reservations accepted this amount of time in advance
International / National Conferences, sponsored by CSE faculty, and CSE Visiting Committee 24 months
Workshops and formal recruiting events, sponsored by CSE faculty, centers or departments 6 months
CSE Department Seminars w/ outside speakers, Department and Development events 3 months
CSE Department / Research Group / Center / Student Organization meetings 2 weeks
Small group and non-CSE events, if available 1 week
Reservation priority for the Nord Atrium will be given in the following manner:
  • The Nord Atrium is considered to be a student lounge Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 12 midnight, and Friday, 8 am - 6 pm. No group may reserve the atrium during these time periods.
  • CSE Groups may reserve the atrium for Saturday/ Sunday events 4 weeks in advance.
  • Outside groups may reserve the atrium for Saturday/ Sunday events 2 weeks in advance.
Nord 310 and Atrium Reminders:
  • All groups using these areas must strictly adhere to University Regulations and the Ohio State Liquor laws.
  • Student group advisors are responsible for the activities of their group while occupying these areas. The student group advisor, or their designee, must be present at all times.
  • CSE Facilities personnel, plant services and CASE Security have final say on lighting, safety and facilities issues.

There are no room charges assessed for the use of Nord 310. However, all groups are responsible for their own room setup. Tables and chairs are found in the closet adjacent to the room.
